Windows of the Soul

In Greek, the psyche means soul and is often represented by a moth or butterfly. This series of tapestries is loosely based on the myth of Psyche, the story of how a soul is touched by devine love, but which, by reason of mistakes made, has to undergo tribulations before having access to happy mortality. Symbolism and human emotions are revealed through a collage of scenes.
